Reporters at the CBW Network
More Notable Staff
Being a reporter for the Crack Between Worlds is a often a risky endeavor. Our elite reporters never know what kind of dangerous situation they're entering each time they arrive on the scene of a news story. Although we maintain the highest safety protocols for our reporters and CBW staff, reporters often retire (usually in a violent and uncomfortable manner). Fortunately, new reporters always seem to randomly fall into the Crack when we suffer a loss. Below is a list of our current reporters.
Mr. Stanton
Owner of the CBW Network
Mr. Stanton is the owner of the CBW Network, along with everything else inside the Crack Between Worlds and is proud to provide a safe, happy working environment. The life-expectancy isn't nearly as bad as the naysayers claim, and any stories about employees getting literally fired with dragon fire are untrue. Any criticism should be disregarded without investigation. Mr. Stanton did not rip a hole in reality, or force strangers to fall into the crack. If Mr. Stanton didn't employ the lost love interests, former main characters, villains, and mentors, who would?
In his free time… he doesn't have any. Mr. Stanton is too busy running the best network in the multiverse and does not have time for hobbies or other frivolous pursuits. If he did, it would be needlepoint.
Rob Skythrust
ROOKIE REPORTER
Rob Skythrust is our newest rookie reporter here at the Crack Between Worlds and is commonly referred as Mr. Beefcake among his devoted fans. Although Rob is pretty clueless about how things work in the multiverse and doesn't know how to read, he is nice eye candy to look at during our broadcasts.
As a former love interest in his own simple, agrarian world, Rob really has no history or memory that isn't directly related to his role in his girlfriend's life. We here at the Crack look forward to Rob's self-discovery to find out if he has a personality, interests, and ambitions of his own.
Dr. Ravenwood
FORMER LEAD REPORTER – MISSING
Dr. Ravenwood is the former lead reporter at the Crack Between Worlds. Unfortunately, he was lost in a nanite blizzard while covering labor violations on a dystopian planet, and his current whereabouts remain unknown. He was known for delving into the scientific explanation for events, technology, and situations for the younger reporters wherever Mr. Stanton sent them, and was definitely the backbone of the network. At this time, we've been forced to assume that Dr. Ravenwood is dead.
To those viewers heartbroken by the death of Dr. Ravenwood, feel free to donate to his memorial fund. To make a donation, simply tuck your donation beneath your tongue and think of mayonnaise. Every donation counts. We almost have enough for a commemorative coffee cup.
Kragen Hunt
EPIC BATTLE ANNOUNCER
Kragen Hunt is an Epic Battle Announcer here at the CBW Network. In his former life, he was the quintessential anti-hero who believes he's intimating in his black trench coat and dark sunglasses (which he never removes). Here at the network, we consider him a guard dog for the CBW as a whole.
In his spare time, Kragen enjoys lifting weights (big surprise), stealthily sneaking around to find new stories for the Crack Observer, training search and rescue squirrels, and painting Fern's toenails.
Fern
EPIC BATTLE ANNOUNCER
Fern is one of the Epic Battle Announcers here at the CBW Network. She is a former chosen one lucky enough to defeat the evil wizard in her world mere days before she fell through the Crack Between Worlds and ended up at our network. She believes she's some kind of grizzled war veteran, but anyone with their psychic receptors tuned into our broadcast can easily see that she's just a perky teenager.
In her free time, Fern enjoys fencing and roller skating, preferably when she can combine both sports. She is currently working to create a roller derby league.
